Ferguson-Florissant School District (FFSD) saw a rise in chronic absenteeism throughout their district – especially after the COVID-19 pandemic – and students urgently needed support.
FFSD partnered with Hazel Health to deliver immediate, school-based care at scale. Hazel Health’s impact on FFSD has been both immediate and measurable, across multiple dimensions – including 91% of severely absent students improved their attendance after starting Hazel therapy.
